The 305V 15.6" laptop falls under Samsung's recently announced Series 3 family and comes in two models; 305V5A-A01 and 305V5A-A02. General specs include an LED-backlit (1366x768) display, 4GB RAM, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, DVD writer and 4-in-1 card reader. They hold a 6-cell battery and ship pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

The differences between the 305V5A-A01 and 305V5A-A02 is that the former is cheaper for a start, using a A4-3310MX APU (dual core @ 2.1GHz) with Radeon HD 6480G graphics and a 320GB HDD, whereas the 05V5A-A02 sports a A6-3410MX quad core APU running at 1.6GHz with Radeon HD 6520G graphics and a 640GB HDD.

Cost central has the 305V5A-A01 listed at $535.05 currently, and the 305V5A-A02 at $580.48.
