Samsung's first AMD A-Series (Llano) powered notebooks are expected to hit shelves in Russia anytime now, and listings for them have also started showing up on U.S. etail sites.
The 305V 15.6" laptop falls under Samsung's recently announced Series 3 family and comes in two models; 305V5A-A01 and 305V5A-A02. General specs include an LED-backlit (1366x768) display, 4GB RAM, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, DVD writer and 4-in-1 card reader. They hold a 6-cell battery and ship pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
The differences between the 305V5A-A01 and 305V5A-A02 is that the former is cheaper for a start, using a A4-3310MX APU (dual core @ 2.1GHz) with Radeon HD 6480G graphics and a 320GB HDD, whereas the 05V5A-A02 sports a A6-3410MX quad core APU running at 1.6GHz with Radeon HD 6520G graphics and a 640GB HDD.
