In June of 2010 they had sold 150 million, a few months later they hit 240 million. This makes Windows 7 the fastest-selling operating system in history. Tami Reller, corporate vice president and chief financial officer of Windows and Windows Live has made it clear that it's "the path to Windows 8." Another announcement is that 100 million copies of Office 2010 have made their way to customers since launch.
