The internet is filled with the buzz of Apple releasing an updated Sandy Bridge-based Apple MacBook Air this week in both 11.6 and 13.3-inch models. Apple has reportedly placed orders for production of 380,000 Sandy Bridge MacBook Airs. Concord Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told AppleInsider that roughly 55-percent of the order will be 11.6-inch Airs whilst the remaining amount the 13.3-inch based Airs.

The move has been a while in the making with both the MacBook Pro and iMac ranges getting an injection of Sandy Bridge lovin', but the new MacBook Air will be the last move for Apple and the Sandy Bridge inclusion into their range.
