Crucial go ballistic with Ballistix series

By: (more) | RAM News | Posted: Jun 1, 2011 1:37 am

COMPUTEX Taipei 2011: Earlier in the year we saw Crucial expand the popular Ballistix line by adding the new Sport series. The heatsink design was new and interesting and complemented the series well but today Crucial kick it up a notch by expanding the series again.

Outside of the Sport series you can see they've added the Tactical and Elite series into the mix. We don't have heaps of information on the series at the moment but it's fairly obvious that the Elite will no doubt carry the most aggressive speeds while the Tactical offers speeds slightly below that with more relaxed timings.

We already know the Sport series offer us some more relaxed timings and speeds at a competitive price. You can check out our review on the PC3-12800 Sport Kit from Crucial the here. We're sure our good friends at Crucial are already getting ready to ship us some samples and we'll indeed offer you a look at what these new series are about in the near future.

In the meantime don't forget to jump on the TweakTown Facebook page as we feed information too it during the show.
