Graphic market sees Intel, AMD claw GPU share from NVIDIA, NVIDIA are green with envy

First off there was a 10.3-percent spike in shipments, which considering things like the economy, console-ported games and the lack of reasoning to upgrade GPUs, is a shock.
Secondly, in the first quarter alone there were 125 million discrete and integrated graphics chips shipped. Looking at the stats we can see NVIDIA faced a large drop in year-on-year growth by a whopping 28.4-percent with AMD and Intel growing by 15.4 and 9.7-percent respectively. Intel dominated though controlling 54.4-percent of the market, AMD placed second with a 28.4-percent piece of the pie with NVIDIA sitting in the corner with their 20-percent cut.
