A Koren news site, Etnews.co.kr, posted the following on their website, and the internet went insane:

iPhone 5 and iPad 2 Available in 2Q

2011/02/18 By Yoon Geon-il, Seo Dong-gyu

Apple releases iPhone 5 and iPad 2 in 2Q. In Korea, the former is put on the market on the same day as the United States, provided by at least two local mobile carriers. It is likely that SK Telecom and KT will launch the phone here.

According to some people attending MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2011 in Spain, Apple is going to unveil iPhone 5 in the fourth week of June.

"Though I can't reveal the exact date, Apple has recently fixed the date, one day in the last week of June," said an industry expert, adding, "The follow-up model of iPhone 4 will be launched in five to six countries first, including the U.S. and South Korea."

Slow news day guys? C'mon. Even if Apple weren't notorious for locking down any and all product information*, why would they confirm it at the Mobile World Congress two months ago and no one gives a damn until now?

*Except for those employees who accidentally leave prototypes in bars. Why are you taking your prototype with you to happy hour, dude? Leave your work at the office and you might keep your job, asshat.

Lastly, Apple has already made it know that their annual Worldwide Dev Conference is going to be about software, software, software.

Calm down, the Internet.
