Gateway refresh NV series, now powered by AMD Vision technology

Gateway are rolling out some new AMD Vision equipped notebooks shortly which deliver 'enhanced performance capabilities for mobile computing'. The cream of the crop is the Gateway NV51B05u which sports an AMD E-series processor E-350 with Vision Technology and AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics, both of which allow a user to have a perfect 1080p HD experience and to play casual games - all for just $469.99.

The Gateway NV Series feature a decent ingredients list, full-sized keyboard, 15.6-inch HD widescreen with UltrabrightT LED-backlit display, three USB ports and a HDMI port.

 

Senior product manager for Gateway notebooks, Eric Ackerson said:

 

Mobile computing is something that everyone has embraced - and even those on a tight budget are now able to have a full-featured notebook for computing and staying in touch on-the-go. The new computing capabilities are paired with a full suite of features and extras that give our customers what they need to work, study, connect and have fun. Plus, we've reached a new level of affordability with budget-minded price tags, so our customers get an incredible bang for their buck.

Included in the refresh are two other new models, NV51B02u and the NV51B08u. The latter includes an AMD C-Series processor, C-50 with HD Internet Technology at a low MSRP of just $399.99
