The guys from Got Apex? have a comprehensive review of the new 128mb version of the GeForce4 Ti4200 from Albatron.
Obviously the Ti 4200 is not the fastest card out there. That is not what it supposed to be though. It is supposed to be a reasonably priced alternative to the 4400 and 4600 that still provides playable frame rates and all of the GF4 Ti GPU's image quality enhancing features. Does it do this? Boy, and how? Even though it is a step or two back from the 4400 and 4600 cards, it will still get you to where you want to be. If you look closely through the benchmark results, you will see that there are very few circumstances where the performance delta between the 4200 and the 4600 will actually rule out a game play resolution or force you to turn back a quality setting just because you didn't buy the fastest card out there.More information at Got Apex?
