Battlefield 3 pits you in a battle within Paris, Tehran and New York - also limits consoles to 24 players
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AABattlefield 3 features DICE's brand new DirectX 11-capable Frostbite 2.0 engine and will really flex it's graphical prowess on PC where it's capable of pitting 64 players in a match versus the console being capable of only 24 players.
Not only is it including a super-increase on players in a match together it will also have those battles in "Paris, Tehran and New York." EA had this advertised on their own pre-order site but quickly pulled it and replaced it with "diverse locations from around the globe including Europe, Middle-East and North America."
We all know that a 64 player match in an urban environment would really kick some serious ass. Can't wait!
