| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Feb 2, 2011 1:30 am

Apple lost a little part of the tablet-pie in 2010, they captured 75.3 percent of the worldwide market share for tablets. Android-based devices took 21.6 percent share according to research firm Strategy Analytics.

With this news, Apple have lost around 20 percent of the market share to Google when comparing Q3 to Q4 in 2010. Just three months ago Apple had 95.5 percent of the tablet market whilst Android-powered devices only had 2.3 percent. Despite the power struggle between Apple and Google, both companies are making some serious waves in the tablet market with this year being even bigger than the last.
