Many motherboard manufactuer's these days and in the past have used special names for their series of motherboards. In this situation the word, "Apogee" means The farthest or highest point; the apex. I am guessing Chaintech believes very strongly in their motherboards performance to come up with a name like this. Let's see if they can live up to that name.More information at Explosive Labs
