Biometric Bluetooth enabled wallet looks to ward off pickpockets

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jan 29, 2011 2:45 am

Do you live in the inner city where pickpockets run rampant? Do you manage to leave your wallet randomly lying around? The Dunhill Biometric Wallet is a unique, if expensive, solution to thieves and forgetfulness.

Boasting a carbon fiber shell that makes it nearly impossible to safely open without using the integrated fingerprint reader, this wallet also has a Bluetooth alarm that will go off if it is ever more than five feet from your phone. This sounds seriously annoying, but I guess it's better than leaving your wallet on the table at the restaurant; you'll soon be trained to never forget it. At $825, it's an awfully expensive training tool as well.
