Nook Color gets a Honeycomb makeover

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jan 29, 2011 2:26 am

The new Honeycomb build for Android 3.0 has been out in the wild for a couple of days now, and we all knew it wouldn't be long until the modding community tried their hand at putting it on as many devices as possible. The folks at xda-developers are usually one of the first to release goodies like this, and their shots of Honeycomb running on the Nook Color are pretty sweet.

The Nook Color is quickly becoming a favorite in the tablet modding community, mostly because of its reasonable price and reasonable ease of use. This emulator is a bit like the original release: slow moving and hard to work with. Still it's something new to play with while the world waits for the official release. Then again, quite a few Android freaks are still seeing Froyo as a pipe dream.
