VIA's EPIA 800Mhz Platform Reviewed

Techseekers has a look at VIA's EPIA 800Mhz platform for those wanting to build a small and quiet fully intergrated PC.

The path to silent computing is here folks. Although I was surprised to see a fan on the CPU, as I said earlier it does its job very quitely indeed. It does get warm though and internal temperature settles at about 45-50 Celcius . It will sit at this temperature under no load and heavy load conditions . Performance is adequate for most tasks and does perform better than initially indicated by the synthetic benchmarks.IDE/Harddrive performance was excellent and DVD and DIVX playback was fluid with no stuttering in audio or video.
