NVIDIA unleashes WHQL-certified GeForce 266.58 drivers

NVIDIA has released WHQL-certified drivers in the form of version 266.58 - the usual fixes and performance enhancements apply in games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Far Cry 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and many others.

 

 

The new drivers also include ambient occlusion support for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty which improves the quality of lighting, shadows and depth perception in many parts of the game. Along with the various performance increases in games there's also NVIDIA Surround improvements and more SLI profiles for various games.

 

Updated PhysX System Software, 3D Vision support for various games and applications, 3D Vision game profiles and support for devices such as 3D LCD monitors, projects and all-in-one PC's are also included.
