Running the ATTO disk benchmark the drive was pushing sustained read/write speeds of an insane 550 and 525MB/sec respectively. OCZ has said that the final version of the Vertex 3 will use different flash memory than was was in the demo unit.

The Vertex 3 Pro is due in the next couple of months.
