Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) has been ported by the homebrew community that is the internet onto the Apple iPhone 3G.

With an iPhone 3G you can still dual-boot to keep your iOS happy, as well as enjoy some Android 2.3 lovin'. The sad news is that the iPhone has gotten Android 2.3 before most Android users - but, this is because of the homebrew community. If only corporations worked this fast to get their new products into the hands of their paying customers.
