Google teases the world with Android 3.0 promo video

Google outs the Android 3.0 promotional video, says "oops I did it again"

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Jan 6, 2011 12:40 am

Android Developers from Google released a promotional video accidentally, which was posted but then moved to private. But, with the powers of the internet it has been re-uploaded, so even with the mistake, everyone is benefiting.

Android 3.0 is a huge leap forward for tablets and there are rumors floating around that it will be exclusive to the form factor, meaning it might not be available for smartphones. The video supports this with "Entirely for Tablet" text on the video itself.

The video shows off the user interface, browser, e-books, optimized Gmail, redesigned YouTube, Google Talk, and Google Maps. With the video clearly saying it's "Entirely for Tablets" does this mean Android 2.x is destined for smartphones and Android 3.x is for Tablets? What will Android 4.x be?
