Aluratek Bump Digital Boombox and Remote Wireless Speaker bundle launches

By: (more) | Audio, Sound & Speakers News | Posted: Dec 22, 2010 8:02 pm

There are tons of choices when it comes to whole home audio. You can get very expensive systems that require a music server, professional installation and thousands of dollars and you can get cheap systems with speakers that you just plug into a wall. Aluratek has unveiled a system that is cheap and looks attractive as well called the Bump.

The Bump system includes two parts with a digital MP3 player boombox and a wireless remote speaker. Each of the parts can be purchased separately and the Boombox section will support up to six remote speakers. Each of those remote speakers has a wireless range of 60-feet and individual aux inputs and volume control. The speakers connect with 2.4GHz tech and have 2W per channel and a bass radiator.

The Bump Boombox is compatible with most devices with a 3.5mm output and has a FM tuner and a SD card slot for direct playback. The battery inside is a Lithium polymer unit and it has a USB port for playback of tunes as well. The bundle with the speaker and boom box is available right now for $99.99.
