Geek hacks ExoPC to run Android

By: (more) | Laptops News | Posted: Dec 21, 2010 6:00 pm

The little ExoPC is a cool tablet style computer that was really anticipated by a bunch of users. The thing ended up being delayed a lot and it finally lunch not too long ago and hit the market. The mod community has been working hard over the last few months and we have seen all sorts of stuff end up running OS' that were never meant to run on the hardware of late and one of the favorite OS' to hack onto devices is Android.

A dude going by MrWilson on the ExoPC forums has posted up a video of his machine hacked to run Android and it looks really cool. The downside to the hack is that the dude couldn't get the touchscreen to work. You can connect a keyboard and mouse to the computer though and use Android that way if you want.

Perhaps other geeks will be able to help get the touchscreen working on the hack, which would make it much more interesting. Check out the video to see the machine in action. Dennis the Menace would approve of this hack.
