CES Rumor Mill: Android LTE hardware coming from Verizon on January 6th

HTC Mecha, tablets coming from the keynote?

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Dec 21, 2010 5:38 am

Teases don't just come from press releases and such; even tweets can get into the act. A tweet from Verizon Wireless is not-so-directly stating that some LTE-enabled hardware is due for an unveiling at CES. Could it be the spiffy Motorola tablet leaked by Engadget a while back?

With Android specifically mentioned in the tweet, this seems a likely candidate as well as the HTC Mecha as well. It looks like Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg will have a lot on his plate during his CES keynote on January 6th. One thing's for sure, my alarm's already set and TweakTown will be there to tell you how it all shakes out.
