Rovio's Angry Birds just can't keep out of the news! Angry Birds is just over 12 months old and has hit the 50-million download mark which is quite the achievement.

It sits up there with a select few gaming franchises that have hit this mark such as Bejeweled (50 million) and Legend of Zelda (59 million). So to be at 50 million within a year, this is something only a few companies can brag about.

Where will it go from here? Well, there's promise of a sequel and also all 3 major consoles are getting a release.
