Microsoft have sold 125, 000 Kinect every day for the last week

By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Dec 2, 2010 11:51 pm

Here at TweakTown we've posted a few things about Kinect - mainly because it's been such a success for Microsoft and it looks to represent a large change in how we use technology in the future. The broadness of it's tech from hacking has also interested thousands of people.

It is still successful weeks after launch selling 125, 000 units every single day for the past week in the run up to the end of year holiday season. Microsoft have been quite proud (and so they should) be of this achievement, where Sony has been quite as open about their sales numbers - Move is popular, but Microsoft seem to be much more confident in their sales numbers.

The next few weeks should be interesting to see who comes out on top for motion-based gaming accessories. With our previous post about the next-generation Xbox, things are only going to get bigger for motion-based gaming.
