Soltek announces VIA P4X400 motherboard

| Motherboards News | Posted: Jun 27, 2002 6:53 am

And I thought this chipset was a long while off. Soltek emailed us announcing the release of their SL-85ERV and 85ERV-L motherboards which are based on the VIA P4X400 chipset for the Pentium 4 platform. The interesting fact is that these boards will be bundled with the SiS Xabre 400 graphics card which is capable of AGP 8x just like the P4X400 - I wonder what VIA have to say about Soltek going ahead and releasing boards based on the P4X400 so early. As usual I have posted all the information and pictures in the New Products section of our forums for you all to check out.
