Panasonic searching for consumers to test new Jungle handheld gaming console

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Dec 1, 2010 4:27 am

Panasonic's not exactly the first company that comes to mind when it comes to console gaming; their 3DO system fell flat soon after release. Their upcoming "Jungle" handheld system, with its QWERTY keyboard, mini HDMI port, a micro USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack is looking to bring Panasonic back into the gaming world.

Apparently Panasonic is going to be choosing some select U.S. consumers to test drive the Jungle and get some feedback from outside their labs. Details are sketchy at this point; no sign of how they wil even choose their candidates. The only thing out there from the company at this point is a quote stating they know what they're in for: "We know other companies out there have traditional hand- held gaming covered... We're doing something very different."
