Chris let us know that ABIT has released a new BIOS for their Athlon based AT7 MAX motherboard. The version 8V BIOS apparently allows for better overclocking - Chris tells us he was able to increase his FSB to 142MHz yielding a 1788Mhz clock speed. According to the ABIT website, the new BIOS also gives support for the new new 0.13micron process Athlon XP CPU-Throughbred processor - It seems to be the BIOS to have, in other words.

More information at ABIT.
