Internet Explorer 9 Beta gets updated

Feedback bugs and other stability issues addressed

The Internet Explorer 9 Beta has proven to be a fairly popular item, racking up over 10 million downloads in the six weeks since it was rolled out. Many of you with the beta may have noticed an automatic update yesterday to the program.

The IE9 update from Microsoft addressed some issues that users have been having with the browser crashing. Microsoft wasn't specific on that front, only stating that the update "improves the reliability of Internet Explorer 9 Beta in various scenarios." The feedback bug on 64 bit machines was also addressed, which affected users with Windows Live Essentials 11 installed.
