Transflective screened e-reader coming for Pocketbook USA

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Nov 24, 2010 6:32 am

Looks like someone at PocketBook USA clicked "Send" instead of "Save" when drafting up a press release. The Digital Reader got a hold of a press release for the new Mirasol e-reader that PocketBook in set to debut at CES 2011, only to find out later that it was an "accidental release."

This new model is looking to sport a transflective color screen from Qualcomm and a 12FPS refresh rate that won't be good enough for video, but plenty for e-books. No word on pricing in the release, but we'll definitely hear more as CES creeps closer. The Mirasol is looking to hit store shelves sometime in Q3 2011.
