Twitter looking to add European branch in 2011

Twiiter moving towards global domination

| Software News | Posted: Nov 23, 2010 1:30 am

I'm not going to surprise anyone when I say Twitter is a global phenomenon. After stating earlier in the year that more than 60% of their users live outside the U.S., a Twitter spokesman has revealed to Mashable that they are planning on expanding into Europe in 2011.

According to the spokesman, "Twitter plans to have a small number of people on the ground in Europe in 2011. We're currently researching locations and potential candidates." There weren't any more details released, but there is speculation that the new jobs would center around sales and business development.
