By: (more) | Gaming News | Posted: Nov 23, 2010 1:24 am

Microsoft's second foray into the console gaming world was the Xbox 360 - which today, turns 5.

As you would say with a child's birthday - oh how time flies. Another year, and the 360 is still as successful as ever especially with the recent launch of the Kinect.

The 360 has done a great job for console gaming, it has pushed online gaming to it's limits on consoles, introduced the slimmer 360, ridded the 360 of RROD, added Kinect to it's lineup and the numerous other gadgets and the countless games it's received.

Happy birthday Xbox, looking forward to seeing the next version of you in a couple of years!
