Samsung i9100 - is it the dual-core Galaxy S?

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Nov 15, 2010 3:26 am

It looks as though someone is lucky enough to be playing with the Samsung GT-i9100, the user calls is the "Galaxy 2" and tweet's that it's "so technically advanced" giving thanks to it's dual core processor.

I've been posting a bit of news in regards to the upcoming dual-core phone from Samsung - it seems to be the only one who's stepped into the limelight thus far - it should be based on the previously posted Coretex-A9 Orion chip which is being sampled now.

But - nothing in the tech business is 100%. But - the current Galaxy S had a code name of GT-i9000 so one would presume this is the upgrade to the Galaxy, with Android's Gingerbread OS powering it also.
