Microsoft survey shows most people hate bad cell phone behavior
Today marks the official launch of smartphones running Windows Phone 7 all around the country. To celebrate the launch of the phone, Microsoft is sharing the results of a survey that it commissioned from Harris Interactive. The survey looked at ways that the mobile phone has become a part of the daily lives of Americans of all types.

According to the survey, 72% of Americans list bad cell phone behavior as a top ten pet peeve. However, only 18% of those people will admit to having bad cell phone behavior. Other key findings from the survey include factoids like 19% of all owners between 18 and 24 have dropped their phone into a toilet. The survey also found that 49% of adults between 18 and 24 have tripped or run into something thanks to texting and walking.
Another interesting fact the survey found was that 69% of those between 18 and 34 have used their phone while in bed. I bet that number is much higher, lots of people in that age rage probably only have a mobile phone and get tons of texts. I think my wife ends up answering at least one text nightly after she goes to bed.
