Parrot's Minkit Smart offers hands free calling and charging while using smartphone as a GPS
With so many smartphones coming with integrated navigation abilities, it's hard to imagine these people using a standalone GPS if they don't have to. But with these apps sucking down the battery juice and needing the GPS up high to see without taking your eyes off the road, what's a single-device user to do? Parrot's Minikit Smart is trying to answer these questions in a slick, all in one package.

The Minikit Smart is a windshield mount that can handle any smartphone between 56 and 70mm in width. An integrated speaker and telescoping microphone are implemented for improved sound and hands free calling. A USB pass-through is also implemented to keep your phone and the Minkit Smart charged on long trips. It comes with a hefty $129 price tag, but if it works as well as the specs say it may just be worth it for traveling smartphone owners.
