Active Media Products offers geeky .50 cal flash drive

.50 flash drive blasts out of hiding

| Storage News | Posted: Nov 4, 2010 6:10 pm

When the first flash drives surfaced they were nothing more than way to store data that was more robust and easy to carry with you than a CD or floppy disc. At some point along the way the drives moved from utilitarian devices into the realm of devices that people buy for their cool factor rather than any need for more storage. This is the point where the fashionable and collectible flash drives became popular.
