TomTom releases new GO 2405 and 2505 GPS devices

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Nov 2, 2010 3:48 am

TomTom's new GPS releases are trying to keep your hands on the wheel where they belong instead of on the device with the GO 2405 and 2505 GPS devices.

Boasting newly implemented Bluetooth technology, an improved UI, and a brighter screen TomTom is trying to minimize the number of touches required to get the maps you're looking for. Voice recognition is also available as well as pinch to zoom on the touchscreen. A new magnetic mount is also used for easier one hand docking and releasing. The 4.3 inch 2405 will retail for $300 while the 5 inch 2505 will go for 319 at Amazon, Best Buy, and on TomTom's website.
