iOS 4.2 goes gold - developers say "kgo"

iPad's chance at multitasking glory is nearly here - iOS 4.2 has sped past the beta state and into GM - which means we should be able to have our grubby hands on it soon.
Not only will the iPad benefit from this upgrade, so too will be the builds of the second, third and fourth generation iPod touches, as well as the iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4.
