Galaxy Tab set to hit Verizon on November 11th

Samsung tablet set to go head to head with iPad at Verizon
| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Oct 21, 2010 3:29 am

The iPad will have some company on Verizon Store shelves soon after it arrives. They have announced a launch date of November 11th for the Galaxy Tab, at a price of $599.

This price may put it at a serious disadvantage against the iPad considering that the prices for Apple's tablet starts at $499. The ten inch iPad also gives a lager screen than the seven inch Galaxy Tab, although Samsung's tablet boasts dual cameras, the Android OS, and 3G connectivity which the iPad lacks. 1GB data plans will go for $20 a month.
