AT&T, Microsoft, Austrian carrier A1 giving away free goodies to early Windows Phone 7 adopters

Zune passes are nice in the U.S., but a free XBox 360 in Austria is more awesome

Microsoft is working hard to get Windows Phone 7 devices into as many hands as possible at launch, and is offering up some pretty nice benefits worldwide to make sure that happens. Microsoft is offering up a 3 month Zune pass to those who sign up for a WP7 pre-order notification and buy a device, and AT&T is giving away a one month Zune pass and a free month of U-Verse Mobile for WP7 buyers. But they don't have anything on A1, an Austrian mobile carrier.

For everyone signing up or extending contracts to receive an HTC Trophy on October 21st from A1, they will also receive a 4GB Xbox 360. 360 more of the systems will be raffled off to those who put in a preorder. A1 is even allowing people to sign up for two Trophies to receive two Xbox 360s. These are the sort of things you have to try in our iPhone/Android crazed mobile marketplace these days, I suppose, but it's not a bad way to create buzz.
