Mobile App of the Day: Rhapsody for BlackBerry

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Oct 18, 2010 9:22 pm

Our Mobile App of the Day today is Rhapsody for BlackBerry.

There aren't too many music junkies out there that don't know about Rhapsody's popular on demand music service. With so many ways to use the program both on your PC and on the go, BlackBerry had oddly been left out in the cold up to this point. This oversight has been erased, and now Rhapsody is available on Blackberry devices running BlackBerry 5.0 or later.

Rhapsody has an on-demand music list of over 10.5 million songs, allowing users to create customized playlists and listen to custom radio stations set up by Rhapsody's editors. For now, content is only available when connected to a WiFi or 3G network, but Rhapsody has unlimited track downloading for offline listening in the works as well. Subscriptions are $9.99 USD a month after a seven day free trial. Visit the Rhapsody site on your BlackBerry device to get started.
