Telstra's HTC Desire Froyo update to not go OTA

Telstra hold Froyo 2.2 update hostage, don't let it go airborne

Looks like the Froyo update is NOT going over the air for Android users on Telstra.

Justin from the Telstra Twitter team announced over the weekend that the anticipated update will not be going OTA and the Froyo 2.2 update will have to be made using the 1900's way of plugging in a cable and downloading it from HTC's website.

But - at least you don't need to use iTunes... ;)

I was not going to post about this - but there are lots of Android users and the Angry Birds news was pretty popular - so this is kinda like a note, with love, from TweakTown.
