The guys over at Ars Technica have an interesting article with browser being pitted against one another.

They've used an Asus laptop in every test - to keep the results even, the tests used are: SunSpider JavaScript Benchmark, V8 Benchmark Suite, Nontroppo General Browser Load-Time Test and Peacekeeper: The Browser Benchmark.

 

The browsers tested are: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera.

 

The results are definitely interesting - you might find you've changed web browsers at the end of reading the article, or mind find your mind at ease with the browser of choice.
