More i845E and i845G News

| Posted: May 20, 2002 4:44 pm

X-bit Labs has posted an article called "RDRAM vs. DDR SDRAM. New Rivalry: i850E against i845E and i845G". The article has reviewed the freshly announced i845E (discrete) and i845G (integrated) chipsets for Pentium 4 CPUs with faster 533MHz Quad Pumped Bus. Both support DDR SDRAM (i845G has been also tested with DDR333), and both are intended to become the major mainstream products for Pentium 4 platforms very soon.

We'll be posting our i845G review before much longer as well, look forward to that one today.
