Telstra pass the 100k mark for T-Hubs and T-Boxes

By: (more) | HT & Movies News | Posted: Sep 29, 2010 7:03 am

Today Telstra reported the company's performance for the 2010 - 2011 financial year, one of the golden goose in that report was that Telstra has sold around 100, 000 T-Box and T-Hub fixed phone tablet devices since they launched in June and April.

100k may not seem like alot when held up against other similar devices (iPhones, iPads, Xbox 360's etc) but for a Telstra product, in this amount of time - it is definitely impressive. Specifically 64, 000 of both devices were sold in the first 2 months of this financial year - which in itself is impressive.

Telstra also announced a 6% increase in customer satisfaction scores and a 30% reduction in complaints to the ombudsman so far this year.

The new customer focused Telstra is looking like it's swinging things around and actually hugging customers, instead of rocking on a rocking chair with a shotgun in hand every time someone walks by...
