Acer has announced that it has some newly update TimelineX notebooks being unveiled today for the first time. The new series of machines keep with the tradition of thin profiles and long battery life that the Timeline series has been known for. The new additions to the line include the 1830T, 3820T, 4820T, and 5820T.
The little TimelineX 1830T-68U118 configuration has a small 11.6-inch screen combined with a powerful Core i7-680UM CPU with Turbo Boost Technology. The machine weighs 3.09 pounds, the screen is LED backlit with an HD resolution, and it has 8-hours of battery life. The machine measures 11.22" W x 8.03" D x 1.10-1.10" H and it features Bluetooth, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB of storage. The machine sells for $899.99. Other configurations for the machine are available as well.
The 5820T is a 15.6-inch screen machine, the 4820T is a 14-inch machine, and the 3829T is a 13.3-inch machine. The 5820T and 4820T both have CPU options with Core i3 and i5 ULV offerings. Up to 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB of storage is available with prices starting at $599.99. The machine can also be fitted with Radeon HD 5650 GPUs.
