Sherwood drops new RD-705i home theater A/V receiver
One of the key components of most home theater systems is the AV receiver. The receiver turns multiple inputs into one and supports sound formats that your TV alone probably doesn't offer. Sherwood has unveiled a new AV receiver that has some cool features at a decent price.

The receiver is called the RD-705i and it can stream internet radio station and services like Pandora and more using a built-in 801.22n WiFi adapter. The receiver also supports playback of music streamed from other sources in the home with WiFi and an optional Bluetooth adapter. The receiver is Windows 7 compatible.
Inside the chassis is a 192kHz/24-bit D to A converter. It supports MP3, AAC, WMA, and WAV format and can work with the optional DS-10 iPod dock. The receiver has 100W of power per channel and has three HDMI inputs with one HDMI output. Those HDMI connections are all 1.4 and support 3D content. The device will ship in November for $499.95.
