BenQ announces 23.6" 120hz 3d-capable monitor
BenQ have just announced the XL2410T - their first 120Hz, 3D-capable LCD monitor which uses an LED backlight. This means it's compatible with NVIDIA's 3D Vision technology, and for those of you (like me) who enjoy the fast refresh of 120Hz.
The screen sports a 23.6" panel at Full HD 1920x1080, 16:9 aspect ratio, 2ms GTG (grey-to-grey) response time, meaning that the OverDrive technology is being used to achieve a faster pixel response than all other 3D-capable monitors (interesting!)
BenQ also claims it has a 10, 000, 000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio.
Interestingly BenQ partnered with ZOWIE, a professional gaming gear manufacturer, ZOWIE's gamer team joined in during the production development and testing stages. With their assistance, the XL2410T apparently has been designed to offer the best experience for gamers. Especially with FPS titles, reducing input lag.
