iPhone 4 set to take over China

By: (more) | Mobile Devices News | Posted: Sep 21, 2010 12:21 am

It was only a matter of time before the iPhone came to the most populous country on the planet. Apple has started taking pre-orders for the iPhone 4 on Friday, which goes on sale September 25th.

Apple is so fired up about the iPhone 4 coming to China that a new store in Beijing is even opening up on September 25th to coincide with the iPhone launch. The 16GB model will retail for CNY4,999 and the 32GB goes for CNY4,999; about $745 and $893 respectively. This is a big time for Apple as the iPad made its debut in China on Friday.
