If your only Blu-ray watching option is your PS3 (like me), and you're chomping at the bit to watch Avatar in 3D on your shiny new 3D TV, it seems your wait may just be about up. Sony announced today at the Tokyo Game Show that the 3.50 firmware update for the Playstation 3 will make the console 3D Blu-ray capable. The update is scheduled to launch on September 21st. It's only officially slated for release in Japan, but most believe that the update will be global. Get your funny glasses ready!
