Facebook integration coming to OnStar

"Responsible connectivity" initiative apparently doesn't mean you have to unplug

| Mobile Devices News | Posted: Sep 16, 2010 4:17 am

The OnStar social networking service works over audio. Facebook and SMS messages are read to drivers and drivers respond verbally with voice transcription typing the responses. This is being launched as a part of OnStar's "responsible connectivity" initiative that is hoping to keep driver attention on the road instead of mobile devices.
