Windows Media Center Embedded demo given by Acer

Another player in the upcoming set-top wars

| HT & Movies News | Posted: Sep 15, 2010 3:32 am

Acer was also at IDF today with some interesting goodies for the masses, including their new Revo 2 set-top box running Windows Media Center Embedded. It looks similar to previous versions of Media Center, with simplified streaming integration and the ability to stream live TV, internet, and movies.

The remote also gets some facetime here and is pretty sweet as well, allowing you to use it as a touchpad or a QUERTY keyboard with the push of a button. Acer is expecting the Revo 2 to be available sometime in the first half of 2011.
